London Lions are excited to announce the addition of point guard Shey Peddy to the roster.

The Boston native joins the Lions, just weeks before their historic EuroCup quarter finals; bringing a wealth of experience from both WNBA and European basketball to the squad.

Peddy enjoyed a successful college career in the US, finishing with 1,899 career points and racking up 1,045 of those with Temple University. Other accolades included  being named Atlantic Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year during her Senior season and being named Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Year.

Peddy brings 5 years of WNBA experience with her to the Lions, two with Washington Mystics in 2019 & 2020; before joining Phoenix Mercury where Peddy has played playoff basketball for three successive years. Most recently, London Lion teammate Megan Gustafson played alongside Peddy at Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA, ensuring a friendly face for her arrival in London.
