Glasgow, Scotland – Sunday, 26 October 2025 – The London Lions put on a dominant all-around performance on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Caledonia Gladiators 96–51 at Playsport Arena. The win served as a statement performance just a week after the Lions edged the Gladiators 81–73 at home.The win kept London unbeaten in Super League Basketball play and highlighted their defensive identity and balanced scoring attack.
Amin Adamu led the way with 20 points, while Ethan Price added 15 points, six rebounds, and five assists.
London’s defense and transition play overwhelmed Caledonia from the opening tip. The Lions’ pressure forced early turnovers and fueled fast-break opportunities, with Joel Scott scoring 10 of his 12 points in the first quarter and Tarik Phillip adding energy off the bench. By halftime, London had built a commanding 49–15 lead, holding the Gladiators to just five made field goals in the first 20 minutes.
The Lions continued to control every aspect of the game in the second half. Deane Williams anchored the paint with hustle and rim protection, while Johnathan Williams added 14 points in 14 minutes, including a smooth jumper to close the third quarter with London up 77–30. The team’s unselfish play was on full display, finishing with 30 assists and 14 made threes on 50% shooting from deep.
Caledonia struggled to find rhythm offensively, committing 17 turnovers and shooting just under 19% from three. Kevin Allen was a bright spot for the hosts with 23 points and 8 rebounds, while Rian Holland added six points and three assists.
London’s 63% shooting from the field and almost 91% mark at the line capped a composed and clinical performance.
