Adult Basketball In London
The London Lions run adult basketball across the capital: open runs you can drop into, and the London Capital League — our own city-wide competition, launching with the London Capital Cup in 2026/27. Whether you're moving on from our youth programme, coming back after years away, or just want to hoop every week, there's a place to play.
The Game Doesn't Stop At 18
Our youth programme takes players from their first dribble at U6 through to the academy and NextGen. But most players don't turn pro — and that shouldn't mean the end of playing. The adult pathway exists so that when you age out of youth basketball, or life brings you back to the game, there's still a court, a run and a competition with your name on it.
It's the same idea that drives everything we do in the community: basketball for everyone, at every level, for life.

Drop-in runs across London. No team, no club membership, no season commitment — turn up, get picked, play. All levels welcome.
London Capital League
Our city-wide local league, launching with the London Capital Cup in 2026/27 — divisional play across London and a final staged at the Copper Box Arena.
