Coach With The Lions
As the London Lions Foundation rolls out its schools and community programmes across the capital, we are looking for enthusiastic, hard working coaches to join our team. Register your interest and tell us where you can coach.
From Interest To Court
We are building a pool of coaches borough by borough as the Foundation's schools and community programmes roll out. Registering takes a couple of minutes.
1. Register Your Interest
Tell us your coaching qualification, your DBS and safeguarding status, and the two boroughs you would most like to coach in.
2. We Get In Touch
When a programme launches in an area you have chosen — or somewhere you have told us you can travel to — we will be in contact about the opportunity.
3. Vetting And Onboarding
DBS and safeguarding checks are completed before any coach works with young people on a Lions programme.
Coaches Who Raise The Room
Qualified, Or Getting There
From Introduction to Coaching (Level 1) through to Level 3 and international qualifications — tell us where you are. If you have no qualification yet, we still want to hear from you.
Safe To Work With Young People
A valid DBS check and safeguarding training matter to us. Tell us what you already hold and we will talk you through anything that is missing.
Reliable, And Close Enough
We plan sessions around the boroughs our coaches can reliably reach. Your first and second choice boroughs — and whether you would travel further — shape where we place you.
You do not need to have coached for the Lions before. Enthusiasm, reliability and a genuine interest in developing young players count for a lot.
