What We Do

Basketball As A Way In

The Foundation is where London meets basketball for the first time. We develop people; the club develops players. We work in schools, community halls and playgrounds to introduce the game, keep it accessible, and open doors into education, employment and volunteering. And when someone is ready to take basketball more seriously, they step into London Lions club sessions and the pathway beyond.

The Foundation Introduces

Your first touch of a basketball: school visits, community sessions, events and clinics.

The Club Develops

Ready for more? London Lions club sessions, junior teams and the academy pathway take you as far as your game can go.

The Pros Inspire

Lions teams competing in Europe show every young Londoner what is possible.

One club, one full-circle journey: from playground to podium, and back into the community.

Schools

Assemblies and beginner coaching that give thousands of children their first touch of a basketball.

Over eight weeks each season, trained coaches and Lions players run structured sessions that use basketball to build life skills with groups who need it most, with a Lions player serving as One Team Ambassador.
