Help grow the game with your time. We need support across every area of the club, and we are always looking for hard working, diligent, honest people to join us.
From Sign-Up To Session
Tell us how you would like to help and when you are free, and we will match you to what is coming up near you. Registering takes a couple of minutes.
1. Register Your Interest
Tell us the ways you are willing to help, when you are generally available, and the skills and experience you could bring.
2. We Get In Touch
When something comes up that fits what you have told us — a matchday, a community session, an event or a longer project — we will be in contact.
3. Vetting And Onboarding
Where a role involves working with young people, DBS and safeguarding checks are completed before you start. We will talk you through anything you do not already hold.

Those three things matter more to us than a CV. Volunteers who do what they said they would do, on the day they said they would do it, are worth their weight in gold.
Every Area Of The Club
Matchdays, community and schools sessions, camps and events, media and content, kit and equipment, admin and fundraising. Tell us where your interests lie and we will find a fit.
No Basketball Experience Needed
You do not need to have played or coached. Plenty of our volunteers came in knowing very little about the game and picked it up on the job.
We are on a mission to make basketball the second biggest sport in the capital. That does not happen without people giving their time. For some, volunteering with the Lions is how a career in sport starts. For plenty more, it is simply giving something back to a game that gave them something first.
