We're looking for people across London to run a regular Lions Open Run in their area. You know your local court and your local hoopers. You keep the run organised and the vibe right. We back you with kit, equipment, insurance, tickets and the Lions name behind it.

Running a court on your own is hard work for no reward. Doing it with us is a different proposition.

This is proper side-hustle money, not a volunteer role. We'll talk numbers with you once we know your venue and your court costs.
Your run sits under London Lions cover, so you're not carrying the liability for a session you organise.
A Lions host t-shirt so everyone at the run knows who's in charge, plus Lions gear as the programme grows.
Balls, bibs and everything else you need to run a proper session. You shouldn't be buying your own kit.
Your run listed on our site, promoted through our channels, and filled by players registering their interest across London.
You don't need to be a coach and you don't need a venue already signed. You do need to be the person your local hoopers would actually turn up for.
You know where people play, who plays, and what's missing. A run only fills if someone local is pulling people in.
Same night, same court, every week. The whole thing lives or dies on the run actually happening when you said it would.
Competitive but welcoming, all levels, no egos. You're the one who keeps it that way when it gets heated.
A sports hall, leisure centre or school hall you can book. If you haven't got one yet, say so and we'll help you find one.
Open Runs are adult sessions, so hosts need to be 18+. Some venues will ask for a DBS check and we'll sort that with you.
We're building something that lasts, not a one-off. We're after hosts who want to grow a run over a season and beyond.
