Promitheas Patras Outgun the London Lions in 89-93 Nail Biter. 24-Point and 9-Assist Performance from Tomislav “Zuba” Zubcic Can’t help the Lions Secure the Victory over the Greek Titans

In the battle of two different offensive philosophies. Promitheas’ 3-point dependant offence came up trumps against London’s ball-sharing, heavy-duty paint-points production.

Tomislav “Zuba” Zubcic recorded 24 points and nine rebounds to go with two assists. The experienced player connected on 66.7% (four of six) of his shots from inside the painted area and 50% (four of eight) from long-range.

Former Ivy League player of the year, Miye Oni, continued his great run of form, contributing 15 points, three rebounds, five assists, and two blocks to the cause. During his 25 minutes on the hardcourt, the 2-way guard specialist hit 62.5% of his shots.

Sam Dekker supplied the Lions’ fighting effort with 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists and a game-leading three steals. Although he struggled from long distance, the forward was almost unstoppable in the inside the arc completing 72.7% of his attempts.

Point guard Jordan Taylor finished the clash with 60%/50%/100% shooting splits en route to a 13-point, 3-rebound, 3-assist and one-steal stat line during his 30 minutes on the floor.

Fast-rising GB star Josh Sharma just missed out on a double-double, contributing nine points and nine rebounds to go with one assist and one block whilst shooting 40% from the field and 50% from the charity stripe.
