London, Wednesday 2 September 2026 – The London Lions have announced the return of Ade Adebayo, who will rejoin the club on a short-term deal ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
The 6’5” London-born guard returns to the capital following a strong 2025-26 season in Spain with Sol Girones Bisbal Basket, where he started 16 games and averaged 14.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steal per game. He also shot 48.9% from the field.
Adebayo developed his game at Barking Abbey before playing collegiately at UC Davis, bringing valuable experience from both the UK and overseas to his return to the Lions.
Born and raised in London, Adebayo’s return to the Lions gives the club a versatile and athletic guard as they prepare for the new season.
