Fresh from a Euroleague campaign with Hungary’s DVTK, 6'3" forward Cheridene Green has signed for the London Lions women’s team.

London-born Green played alongside Lion’s Shanice-Beckford-Norton in last year’s commonwealth games, securing a Silver medal in the 3x3 competition.

Vanja Cernivec, London Lions General Manager, said ‘Cheridene is a force to be reckoned with, as she has proven in European competitions over the last two seasons. We are delighted to have her on board and returning home for what we expect to be another historic season’.

Green played and dominated in every National team age group and also played for Sevenoaks Suns as a junior before heading to the US. After success with ASA College in Brooklyn (Two-time National Junior College Athletic Association All-American); Green went on to become the University of Tennessee’s first International signing. During the 2014-15 season with Tennessee, Green was the only player to start every game and finished an impressive six double-doubles.
