Club Statement: NextGen EuroLeague Team Return

London, Thursday 5 March – The London Lions can confirm that our U18 team and staff who were in Abu Dhabi for the adidas NextGen EuroLeague qualifying tournament have now returned safely to London.

We would like to thank EuroLeague Basketball and other relevant partners and authorities for their support and assistance in helping coordinate the group’s safe return to the UK.

The welfare of our players and staff remained our highest priority throughout, and we appreciate the cooperation of all parties involved in ensuring their safe journey home.

The club would also like to thank families and supporters for their patience and understanding during this time.
