London, Friday 23 October 2026 — London Lions can confirm that Keenan Evans will return to Žalgiris Kaunas following his loan spell with the club, after being recalled by the Lithuanian side due to an injury to guard Nigel Williams-Goss.
Evans joined the Lions on loan ahead of the 2026–27 season, making four appearances in both EuroCup and SLB Championship play.
He averaged 11.8 points and 2.8 assists per game in the EuroCup, alongside 9.8 points and 3.5 assists in the SLB Championship.
His ability to create opportunities for teammates and organise the offence made him a valuable presence within the Lions' backcourt.
A proven performer at the highest level of European basketball, Evans brought quality, composure and leadership to the team. His experience and professionalism added strength to the Lions' backcourt as the club competed across domestic and European competitions.
The 30-year-old previously represented Žalgiris between 2022 and 2024, establishing himself as a key contributor in Kaunas. His familiarity with the club and its system will see him return to a team looking to strengthen its backcourt rotation following Williams-Goss's injury.
London Lions General Manager Martynas Purlys thanked Evans for his contribution to the club.
“Having Keenan Evans with us has been a great opportunity. He brought quality, experience and leadership to our backcourt, and we wish him all the best as he returns to Žalgiris Kaunas,” said Purlys.
The Lions thank Keenan for the professionalism, experience and leadership he brought to the team during his time in London. The club wishes him every success as he returns to Kaunas and continues his career with Žalgiris.
