London, Monday 13 July 2026 - London Lions can confirm that guards Kameron McGusty and Amin Adamu will depart the club ahead of the 2026-27 season. Both were part of the historic quadruple-winning squad, and the Lions thank them for their contributions.

McGusty joined the Lions ahead of the 2025-26 campaign and featured in 27 Super League Basketball games and 10 EuroCup fixtures during his season in London. He averaged 10.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in league play, and stepped up on the European stage with 15.0 points, 3.6 assists and 3.3 rebounds a night in the EuroCup, shooting better than 55 percent from the field in the competition.

The 6'6" guard played his part across the club’s clean sweep of domestic silverware, helping the Lions lift the SLB Championship, SLB Playoff Title, SLB Cup and SLB Trophy. He was named MVP of the SLB Cup final, capping a memorable campaign.

Adamu also joined the Lions ahead of the 2025-26 campaign and featured in 30 Super League Basketball games and 18 EuroCup fixtures during his season in London. He averaged 6.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in league play while shooting an impressive 56.2 per cent from the field and 40.0 per cent from three-point range.

The 6'5" guard played an important role in the quadruple-winning campaign, helping the Lions lift all four domestic trophies while also contributing to the team’s run in the EuroCup.
