London, Monday 13 April — The London Lions were officially presented with the Super League Basketball (SLB) Championship trophy on Sunday night at the Copper Box Arena, capping off a special treble presentation following their 81-60 win over Sheffield.

The ceremony not only marked the Lions securing the regular season title, but also celebrated their broader success this season, as the team lifted all three trophies they have claimed so far – highlighting a dominant 2025/26 campaign.

London officially clinched the SLB regular season title on Sunday 5 April with a statement 99–79 road win over the Cheshire Phoenix, sealing top spot against the league’s second seed.

Sunday night’s home fixture provided the perfect moment to celebrate in front of supporters, as players and staff gathered on court for the championship presentation, recognising a season that has already delivered three of the four available trophies.

With the treble now secured, the Lions turn their focus to finishing the regular season strong, with three games remaining before shifting full attention to the playoffs, as they set their sights on one more piece of silverware.

“We want to win everything. That’s the main thing. We want to clean sweep, show why we are the best team in the league, and it’s just coming to games ready to dominate and execute,” said Ciaran Sandy.

The Lions return to the Copper Box Arena this Friday at 7:30pm, where they will once again face the Cheshire Phoenix in their final home game of the regular season.
