London, Thursday 9 July, 2026 - London Lions have learned their opponents for the 2026-27 BKT EuroCup, with the draw completed on Wednesday at the Mediapro headquarters in Barcelona, Spain. The competition's 32 teams were divided into four groups, and the Lions have been placed in Group B.

London will face Turk Telekom Ankara, U-BT Cluj-Napoca, La Laguna Tenerife, Umana Reyer Venice, Maxima Roma, Siauliai Basketball and Skyliners Frankfurt across the regular season. It is a demanding group, bringing together clubs from six countries with a spread of playing styles, strong traditions and considerable European pedigree.

Each group features 14 rounds, with every team playing the other seven home and away. The top four teams from each group advance to the postseason, where the playoffs run through Eighthfinals, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals, all played as best-of-three series.

General Manager Martynas Purlys said: "We view the draw positively. In the EuroCup there are no easy groups and every opponent deserves respect. We have been placed in a highly competitive group featuring clubs with different playing styles, strong traditions and valuable European experience. These are exactly the kinds of challenges we want to embrace as an organisation.

"We believe in our team, our coaching staff, and the work we have done to prepare for the season. Our objective is clear: to be competitive in every game, fight for a place in the playoffs and represent the London Lions with pride on the European stage. We are also looking forward to welcoming our fans to a fantastic EuroCup campaign and creating special nights together in London."

The Lions will confirm their full round-by-round fixture schedule, including dates and tip-off times, in due course.
