London, Friday 20 February — The London Lions are pleased to announce the signing of British international forward Jordan Williams, who returns to the club for a second stint.

Williams, 29, joins the Lions with an extensive professional resume across Europe, most recently coming from Keflavík in Iceland’s top flight. The 6’9” forward brings size, rebounding presence, and scoring ability, along with valuable experience having spent time in Belgium, Germany, Hungary, France, Cyprus, Romania, and the United Kingdom.During his earlier stint with London in the 2021–22 season, he contributed across domestic and FIBA Europe Cup competition.

Williams spent the 2024–25 season with Anorthosis Ammochostou in Cyprus, where he was a key contributor, averaging 11.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while shooting an efficient 58.8% from the field. He also appeared in FIBA Europe Cup competition, averaging 11.8 points and 6.4 rebounds, showcasing his ability to perform at both domestic and continental levels. He later continued his season with CS Municipal Ploiești in Romania, where he averaged 15.9 points and 9.1 rebounds, further demonstrating his scoring ability and strong presence in the frontcourt.

A familiar name to British basketball fans, Williams previously competed in the British Basketball League with the Surrey Scorchers and Worcester Wolves, along with the Lions. Internationally, Williams has represented Great Britain at both youth and senior levels, including appearances in the FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers as part of the senior national team programme.

Williams joins the Lions at a crucial point in the campaign, as the team remains firmly in contention for rare domestic quadruple and prepares for the final stretch of the season.
