London, Tuesday 28 July 2026 – The London Lions are pleased to announce the signing of Dami Adeyinka ahead of the 2026-27 SLBW season.
A product of the British basketball pathway, Adeyinka was born and raised in Newham and developed her game at Barking Abbey before continuing her career in the United States at Quincy University. She now returns home after spending the 2025-26 season in Spain with CB Arelsa, adding international experience to an already impressive basketball journey.
Known for her exceptional speed and relentless defensive intensity, Adeyinka brings energy on both ends of the floor and further strengthens the Lions' backcourt heading into the new campaign.
London Lions General Manager Ruchae Walton believes the homegrown talent will make an immediate impact.
"Dami is a player our fans should be really excited to watch. She's incredibly quick and brings a defensive intensity that will make a real impact on our roster. I'm passionate about giving Londoners the opportunity to represent their city, and Dami is no exception. Returning to London to play professionally in front of her hometown supporters, Adeyinka represents another exciting addition to the Lions as the club continues to build a talented roster for the 2026-27 SLBW season.
