London, Wednesday 5 August 2026 – The London Lions are delighted to announce the signing of Sophie Khalaf ahead of the upcoming season.
The 5’11 forward joins the Lions following a strong campaign with the Brent Bulls in WNBL Division 1, where she was a consistent contributor on both ends of the floor. During the 2025/26 season, Khalaf averaged 13.2 points and 8.4 rebounds per game, showcasing her versatility and ability to impact the game in multiple areas.
Khalaf also recently represented the London Lions at the Hoopsfix Pro-Am Summer League, where she played an important role in helping the team reach the finals. Her performances highlighted her athleticism, versatility, and ability to contribute across the floor.
A dynamic presence in the frontcourt, Khalaf brings athleticism, energy, and a willingness to do the work needed to help her team succeed. Her ability to contribute offensively while making an impact defensively adds valuable depth and versatility to the Lions’ roster.
