
Born in London, Adamu is a product of City of London Academy & Barking Abbey. Adamu played college basketball at Montana State University, where he averaged 11.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game across three seasons. He shot 50.3 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from three in his final year. Since turning professional in 2022, he has played in Austria with the Kapfenberg Bulls, in the Czech Republic with BK Olomoucko, and most recently in Finland with Salon Vilpas, helping them secure a bronze medal finish in the 2024 Korisliiga playoffs. Internationally, Adamu has represented Great Britain at both youth and senior levels, including the 2017 FIBA U20 European Championship and qualifiers for the 2023 FIBA World Cup and EuroBasket 2025.
