
American point guard Annika Shah returns to the Lions for the second year. The rookie out of Cal Poly averaged 12.8 points per game and 38.5% from the 3-point line for the Mustangs in her final season, and is studying for her Master’s degree in Sports Management at UEL while playing for the Lions. Last season, Shah averaged 19.8 points per game (2nd in the SLB), 4.4 rebounds per game, and 5.2 assists per game (2nd in the SLB). Last year, Shah was appointed to SLB Team of the Year, made 56 three-pointers (league leader), scored 356 total points (3rd most ever in a Lions league season), had the highest average by any player in Lions history, and was the 2nd player in club history with 50+ threes in a season.
