Tomislav Zubcic led the way with 22 points as London Lions continued their perfect BBL season with a 91-83 victory against Manchester Giants on Sunday.

The Croatian big man needed just 20 minutes of action as Ryan Schmidt's team extended their winning run to seven games.

Tajh Green led the visitors with 22 points and seven rebounds as former Lions' coach Vince Macaulay's new club went home disappointed.

Koufos and Soko each scored six early points as Lions started well, and Zubcic's triple kept the hosts ahead before Soko drove to the basket to help them take a 22-19 lead into the first break.

Best drained a triple to open the second period and back-to-back treys from Luke Nelson saw Lions' lead grow 37-28 midway through the quarter and seven straight Zubcic saw their advantage grow to 44-31 with 3:35 on the clock.

But Giants hit back with a pair of Green baskets sparking an 11-0 run before Hruban hit a pair at the foul line to give Lions a 46-42 half-time lead.

Former Lion Dirk Williams and Hruban exchanged triples to open the second half, and a Koufos lay-up gave London a 55-51 lead midway through the third period.
Hruban dropped a triple to keep Schmidt's team ahead and Devon Van Oostrum's free-throw saw them go into the final break with a 70-66 lead but Giants scored the first six points of fourth period to grab their first lead of the game.

A second straight Ramon Fletcher triple saw Giants' lead grow to 75-70 before Van Oostrum broke the run at the foul line.

Hruban's triple tied the game at 81 with 3:48 on the clock before Soko's dunk gave Lions a lead with would never lose with 2:36 left.

Four straight Best points put London ahead by six heading into the final 90 seconds before Van Oostrum wrapped up Lions' seventh straight win at the charity stripe.
